Question from chase, a student:

if 1cu.ft=6.229 imp. gal and1 imp.gal=4.546 liters how many liters does of 128cuft. hold

Hi Chase,

Since 1 imp. gal is 4.546 liters, 6.229 imp. gal is 6.229 × 4.546 liters. But 6.229 imp. gal is 1 cu. ft. Thus

1 cu ft is 6.229 × 4.546 liters.

How many liters are in 128 cubic feet?

Penny
