Question from Christopher, a student:

Jack tosses a coin 30 times. How many times would you expect the coin to land tails side up?

Hi Christopher,

If this is a fair coin then the probability that it lands tails on a toss is one half. Hence if I toss the coin a number of times I would expect that it will land tails on half of the tosses.
