Question from Danielle, a student: Two cars are on a collision course, heading straight towards each other. One car is traveling 45 miles per hour and the other is traveling 75 miles per hour. How far apart will the two cars be one minute before they collide. |

How fast is the distance between the cars decreasing? At that speed how much does the distance decrease in one hour? in one minute?
