Question from Donna: I am trying to help my granddaughter with some math homework. I looked at what you have on fact families. Am I correct to assume that the same process applies to multiplication and division as well? Her question asks for fact families for 2, 8, & 16. |
Hi Donna,
I have never seen family with multiplication and division but it is certainly possible.
2 × 8 = 16
8 × 2 = 16
16/2 = 8
16/8 = 2
Families are complex structures, not all relationships are the same.
