you are given that the area of a rectangle is 21.6 in sq. find the base and the height of the rectangle.

Hi Evan,

The area of a rectangle is the length times the width so any choices of length and width that have a product of 21.6 will give the area you require. For example a length if 21.6 inches and a width of 1 inch, or a length of 7.2 inches and a width of 3 inches.
