Question from Htet, a student:

I have a math dictionary to complete by February 13, 2008, Wednesday, and I need to know what a real life example of a decagon can be. I need help on this!

Hi,

I found a couple of examples.

There are coins in the shape of a regular decagon.

There is a quasicrystal composed of overlapping decagonal clusters.

Wikipedia has an umbrella but most of the umbrellas I could find are octagons.

I hope this helps,
Penny
