Question from jeff, a parent:

find the prime factorization and use exponential notation for 432

Hi Jeff,

I am going to illustrate with 380.

I can see that 380 is divisible by 10 which is 2 × 5 so

380 = 2 × 5 × 38

But 38 is 2 × 19 and 19 is a prime so

380 = 2 × 5 × 2 × 19 = 22 × 5 × 19

I hope this helps,
Penny
