Question from jen, a parent: list the addition number sentences that can be written using two sets of cards with the numbers 5 6 and 7. which number sentences have the same addends but show a different order?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,This is for my son in 3rd grade and for the life of us we can't figure it out,,thanks for this elementary help |
Hi Jen,
This question confuses me also. If the numbers had been for example 1, 2 and 3 then I could see
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 2 = 3
2 + 1 = 3
but with two fives, two sixes and two sevens and an addition and equality sign I don't see any number sentences.
