Question from jen, a parent:

list the addition number sentences that can be written using two sets of cards with the numbers 5 6 and 7. which number sentences have the same addends but show a different order?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,This is for my son in 3rd grade and for the life of us we can't figure it out,,thanks for this elementary help

Hi Jen,

This question confuses me also. If the numbers had been for example 1, 2 and 3 then I could see

1 + 1 = 2
1 + 2 = 3
2 + 1 = 3

but with two fives, two sixes and two sevens and an addition and equality sign I don't see any number sentences.
