Question from joneka, a parent:

Barb walked five times around a triangle field all together she walked 435 feet the first side of the triangle field is 23 feet the length of the other two sides are of the same measure. What are the dimensions of the triangle field?

Joneka,

If 5 times around the field is 435 feet how far is once around the field?

If you subtract 23 feet from the distance around the field how much is left?

This distance is divided in two to form the other two sides. How long is each side?

I hope this helps,
Penny
