Question from kathy, a student: How do you find the radius of a circle if the area is 803.84 and using 3.14 for pi. |
Hi Kathy,
The area of a circle is given by
area = π r2
Hence if you know the area you can divide it by π to find the square of the radius. To find the radius take the square root.
