Question from kim:

if i have the inches and need to convert them to cubic feet, how do i do that? i thought it was height X width X length. please help

Hi Kim,

If you have the height, width and length in inches and you want the volume in cubic feet you can first convert the lengths to feet. Since there are 12 inches in a foot divide each of the height, width and length by 12 to convert the dimensions to feet. Now that you have the three dimensions in feet multiply them together to obtain the volume in cubic feet.

You can also use our volume caculator.

I hope this helps,
Penny
