Question from kirsty, a student: Here are the first siz terms of a sequence. 4,12,24,40,60,84 Find in terms of n, an expression for the nth term of teh sequence. |
Kirsty,
If you divide by 4, you get 1, 3, 6, 10, 20, 42. Come up with an expression for this sequence and then multiply by 4. This one should be much easier to see.
