Question from Kristin, a parent:

If the sum of the digits of a whole number is 200, the whole number may not have ________ digits?

Kristin,

I am not sure what is expected here. Here is one suggestion. Since each digit is 9 or less and 9 × 22 = 198 you can say that the whole number may not have less than 23 digits.
