Hi, could you please tell me how close to an acre of land my lot is. The lot size is 140 ft by 200 ft. I am trying to see how close to an acre it is and i'm clueless. Thank You

Hi Linda,

I assume that your lot is a rectangle and then the area is the length times the width so the area is 200 × 140 = 28,000 square feet. There are 43,560 square feet in an acre so your lot is 28,000/43,560 = 0.64 acres or almost two-thirds of an acre.
