Question from Lorie, a student:

I am having trouble with this question I answered it once and the instructor came back asking what about 0?
Here is the question...help!!!
2. The probabilities that a batch of 4 computers will contain 1, 2, 3, and 4 defective computers are 0.6274, 0.3102, 0.0575, and 0.001 respectively.

a. Set up a probability distribution to describe this situation.

1 .6274
2 .3102
3 .0575
4 .001
instructors reply to my distribution table. What about x = 0 ?

In any probability distribution the sum of all the probabilities must be 1.
