Question from Malise, a parent:

Write each repeating decimal using bar notation.
0.428571428...
0.54545...

Hi Malise,

To use the bar notation for a repeating decimal you place the bar over the part of the decimal that is repeating. For example

0.234234...and 7.77847784

The repeating part does not have to start immediately after the decimal. For example

9.12376376...

I hope this helps you solve your problems,
Penny
