Question from mariah, a student:

how fast would you be going per hour if you wanted to get to neptune in 1 week ?

Hi Mariah,

I did some searching and found that the minimum distance from the Earth to Neptune is 4.3 billion kilometers. There arre 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week so there are 7 × 24 = 168 hours in a week. Thus if you go 4.3 billion mils in one week your average speed would be 4,300,000,000/168 = 26,000,000 kilometers per hour.
