Question from mom, a parent:

my son and i are trying to do this problem but cant can you help please
-4(-2)power of 3 -3(-4) power of 2 i hope you can help thank mom

Hi Mom,

(-2)3 = (-2)(-2)(-2) = -8 and (-4)2 = (-4)(-4) = 16 so

-4(-2)3 -3(-4)2 = -4(-8) -3(16) = 32 - 48 = -16
