my son and i are trying to do this problem but cant can you help please
-4(-2)power of 3 -3(-4) power of 2 i hope you can help thank mom

Hi Mom,

(-2)³ = (-2)(-2)(-2) = -8 and (-4)² = (-4)(-4) = 16 so

-4(-2)³ -3(-4)² = -4(-8) -3(16) = 32 - 48 = -16
