Question from Nedra, a parent: If I walk 1 mile and 2/10ths in 20 minutes how fast am I going? |

There are 60 minutes in an hour so 20 minutes = 20/60 = 1/3 hours. Thus at the same speed you would go three times as far in an hour, which is
3 × 1 2/10 = 3.6 miles.
Thus you are walking at 3.6 miles per hour.
I have no idea how many calories this would burn.
