Question from olivia, a student: Judy has a sugar cone and wants to know how many cubic inches of ice cream it will hold if it is filled completely to the top of the cone and no more. The cone has a height of 4.5 inches and a radius of 1.5 inches. |

The expression for the volume of a right circular cone, the shape of a sugar cone, is 1/3 π r2 h where r is the radius and h is the height.
