Question from P., a parent: What is the name of a figure that has 2 sides that measure 25 feet each and 2 sides that measure 10 feet each? |
This is fun! I get to draw some pictures and name things the way I want.
This one I would call a kite, 
and this one an arrowhead.
This on looks like a bow tie. 
You can name this one. 
I drew an extra line to help. What can you say about the triangles ABC and ACD? What about the angles CAB and ACD? What does that tell you about the lines AB and CD?
