Question from pankaj, a student: There are 5 boys and 2 girls. In how many ways can they stand in row so that no two girls are together? |
Pankaj,
Take the total number of possible lineups minus those in which the girls ar together. To help with the latter temporarily think of the two girls as one entity and permute them with the 5 boys.
