Question from Pat, a parent:

Describe the rule for this pattern:
0,1,2,3,6,11,20,37,68...

Thanks

Hi Pat,

There is a very well known sequence called the Fibonacci sequence. It starts

1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, ...

The pattern here is that the first two terms are 1 and 2 and after that every term is the sum of the two previous terms

1 + 2 = 3, 2 + 3 = 5, 3 + 5 = 8, 5 + 8 = 13 and so on.

Does this help with your sequence?
Penny
