Hi Qiana, There are two ways to approach this problem. You can first convert the mixed fraction to an improper fraction and then convert the improper fraction to a decimal fraction or you can convert the fractional part of the mixed fraction to a decimal fraction and then add it to the whole number part of the mixed fraction. That was a complicated sentence so let me illustrate with an example. Change 7 1/4 to a decimal fraction. First method.
