Question from RICHARD:

I AM GETTING A 10 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF A 50 ACRE TRACT.ITS GOING TO BE PERFECTLY SQUARE. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT EACH PROPERTY LINE LENTH WILL BE?ON ALL FOUR SIDES.AND THE TOTAL SQUARE FEET WILL BE IN THIS 10 ACRE TRACT?

Richard,

One acre is 43,560 square feet so 10 acres is 435,600 square feet. Hence the side length of a 10 acre square is √435,600 = 660 feet.
