Hi Robert, If you want to know how many different 5 digit numbers you can form from the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 the answer is 120. I think that is where your number 120 arises. If you have 39 numbers, say 1, 2, 3, ..., 39 and you want to know how many ways you can choose 5 different numbers from the 39 you can ask Google. In the Google search window type 39 choose 5.
