Question from robert, a parent:

Please list the way I can choose 5 numbers out of 39 numbers, without repeating them, starting at number 1.

Please send me a list of all 120 combination.

Thanks,

Robert

Hi Robert,

If you want to know how many different 5 digit numbers you can form from the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 the answer is 120. I think that is where your number 120 arises.

If you have 39 numbers, say 1, 2, 3, ..., 39 and you want to know how many ways you can choose 5 different numbers from the 39 you can ask Google. In the Google search window type 39 choose 5. Google will respond with 39 choose 5 = 575 757. More then half a milion. Certainly too many to list.
