Hi Roxanne, Have a look at the answer I gave to an earlier question. I expect that the teacher is looking for 4 rows of 8 dots or 8 rows of 4 dots. Mathematicians always give the number of rows in an array first and the number of columns second, but I don't know what the teacher might expect. I am not sure about the second part by how about "Each of my 4 sons has 8 T-shirts so that's 4 × 8 = 32 T-shirts." Penny | ||||||||||||
