Question from sandy:

if something measures 7m x 3.6m with a depth of 1 - 1.5m and the total cost is 52 500.00, what is the cost per square metre

Hi Sandy,

If it measures 7 m by 3.6 m then the area is 7 × 3.6 = 25.2 square metres. (You didn't give any units but I expect the 52 500.00 is rand.) If the cost is 52 500.00 rand then that is 52 500.00/25.2 = 2 083.33 rand per square metre.
