Question from shane, a student:

i Need to find out what this adds up to i have a diagram of a pentagon and all the sides are different how do i do this if the sides are 5100,7200,7200,7400,7400

Hi Shane,

If you want to find the area of the pentagon you need to know more than just the lengths of the sides. You need somehow to describe the shape. To get an idea of what you can do look at our response to an earlier question.

If you need further assistance write back,
Harley
