Question from shari, a student:

of the 2598960 different five card hands from a deck of 52 playing cards. how many would contain all ten's?

Hi Shari,

Since 4 of the 5 cards have already been determined, all that is left is the 5th card. The 5th card can be any of the remaining cards, so there are 48 hand combinations that would contain all the tens.
