Question from Sheik:

How I Convert My Roll Weight Into Meters ?
Roll Width : 241mm
Thickness : 56gsm
Weight :81 Kg

Sheik,

Imagine that you unroll the paper into ole long strip. It would be 241 mm (0.241 meters) wide and say L meters long giving an area of 0.241 × L square meters. The weight of the paper is 56 grams per square meter so the paper would weigh 0.241 × L × 56 grams. But you know the weight is 81 kilograms or 81,000 grams so

0.241 × L × 56 = 81,000

thus

L = 81,000/(0.241 × 56) = 6,002 meters

I hope this helps,
Harley
