Question from Stacey, a student: In a circle, If one chord is twice as long as another, is the longer chord's arc also twice the size of the smaller chord? True or False |
Stacey,
You don't really need our help here. Just take three evenly spaced points on a circle (A, B, and C with AB = BC), then compare the length of the arc AB with the arc AC, and the chord AB with the chord AC.
