Question from Stacey, a student:

In a circle, If one chord is twice as long as another, is the longer chord's arc also twice the size of the smaller chord? True or False

Stacey,

You don't really need our help here. Just take three evenly spaced points on a circle (A, B, and C with AB = BC), then compare the length of the arc AB with the arc AC, and the chord AB with the chord AC.
