Question from Stephanie, a student: An isosceles right triangle has an area of 35 sq cm. What are the lengths of the sides? Thank you! |
One visual way to 'think' about it is to take two of these triangles. Pasted together on their longer side you have : a Square. You also know the area of the square (2 times 35).
