hi guys just a quick help on question needed thanx if tan a = 1/5 and thanks alot in advance |
Hi,
The exprressions you need are
tan(x + y) = [tan(x) + tan(y)]/[1 - tan(x)tan(y)] and
tan(x - y) = [tan(x) - tan(y)]/[1 + tan(x)tan(y)]
Use this to write tan(4a - b) in terms of tan(4a) and tan(b). Write tan(4a) as tan(2a + 2a) and use the expression again.
