Hi Alina. Most mathematics used by nursing professionals involve time durations and dosages of medicines. I would say that a good nurse has a strong understanding of basic algebra and an excellent ability to work with fractions and proportions. Nursing schools have different entrance requirements, usually requiring you to have some high school mathematics and usually requiring you to take at least one math class in university or nursing school (usually something like "finite math"). So you don't need much advanced math, but you need to really learn fractions and algebra well. Cheers, | ||||||||||||
