Question from Andrew, a student:

I have a question what 100,000 + 20% =

Hi Andrew,

I think you mean 100,000 plus 20% of 100,000. If this is true then my answer is that 20% of 100,000 is 0.20 × 100,000 = 20,000. Thus 100,000 plus 20% of 100,000 is 100,000 + 20,000 = 120,000.
