Question from christian, a student:

650g+2kg+195g=how many kg

Christian,

There are 1000 grams in a kilogram and hence, for example 476 gram is 476/1000 = 0.476 kilograms, 2534 grams is 2534/1000 = 2.534 kilograms and 57 grams is 57/1000 = 0.057 kilograms.

Express the three weights 650 grams, 2 kilograms and 195 grams in kilograms and then add them to find the total number of kilograms.
