Question from Conor, a student:

Hi guys! Was wondering if you could help me with this q. Thanks

y= p x (q (to the power t) ) ; y= 100 when t = 2 and y= 4 when t= 0

a) find p and q
b) hence find y when t=4

Hi Conor.

Write out the two equations you get when you substitute out the y and t values.

Now here's a hint: q0 = 1, because anything to the 0th power is 1.

Hope this helps,
Stephen La Rocque.
