Question from Conor, a student:

Hi Guys!

I don't have a square root sign so I'm just gonna use the ^ symbol :)

I am just wondering if

1/(16^a)

when re-written can it be

1/16 to the power -1/2

Thanks :)

Conor,

If you asking whether 1 over root 16 can be written (1/16)^(-1/2)then the answer is no. 1 over root 16 is 1 over root 16.
