Question from David, a student:
A farmer has a number of chickens and pigs. There are 24 heads and 80 ft.
How many pigs and how many chickens are there?
David,
I think we answered this one a while ago! But:
(1) If all the heads belong to chickens, how many feet are there?
(2) If you replace a chicken by a pig what does this do to the number of feet?
(3) So how many chickens do you replace by pigs?
Good Hunting!
