Dawn, Why not try a few examples? Try dividing 487, 488, 489, ... by various 1-digit numbers and observe if and when you get a remainder of 8. You can even use a calculator if you wish, but my guess is that you will see a pattern more quickly if you divide the old-fashioned way. Chris | ||||||||||||
