Question from Deborah, a parent: The blueprint for landscaping a yard has a scale of 1/2" to 1 foot. If the blueprint is a rectangle 18 inches by 22 inches, what are the dimensions of the yard? |

How many half inches in one inch?
How many half inches in two inches?
How many half inches is 18 inches? Each of those represents one foot in width.
Do the same for 22 inches to find the depth.
