Question from Heather, a student:

What's the derivative of y = e^2x-e^-2x / e^2x+e^-2x?

Hi Heather,

To differentiate

y = (e2x-e-2x)/(e2x+e-2x)

I used the quotient rule. I then simplified the resulting numerator which turned out to be a constant.
