Question from Irena: How do you find begrining inventory if after 10% increase in supply you got 27.5 units |
Hi Irena,
If the beginning inventory is B units then adding 10% is adding 0.10 × B units. The result is then 27.5 units so
B + 0.10 × B = 27.5
that is
1.10 × B = 27.5
Solve for B.
