Question from Jay, a student: what is the equation that would give me the next 3 numbers in this progession: 0,1,5,14,20 |
Hi Jay. Are you sure you copied it down right? Perhaps you meant 0, 1, 5, 14, 30...?
If so, look at the differences between consecutive terms. Do you see the pattern? Try taking the square root of the differences if you still don't see it.
