Question from Justin, a student:

Find the radius of a circle with a circumference of 9.43cm.

Justin,

The circumference C of a circle is given by C = 2 π r where r is the radius. Thus for your circle

9.43 = 2 π r.

To find r divide both sides by 2 π.
