Question from katie, a student: Inductive reasoning, what 1/8, 2/7, 1/2, 4/5, what would be the next two in the sequence. |
Hi Katie,
Look at the denominators
8, 7, 2, 5
If that 2 were just a 6 there would be a nice pattern. What happens if you express the third fraction, 1/2, with a denominator of 6?
