Question from Kristina, a student:
If h(x)=f(g(x)), and is differentiable, then find h"(x).

Kristina,

First find h'(x) - this is a standard result, the chain rule. The answer will involve a product.

Now find h"(x) by differentiating the expression you just found. You will need the chain rule again, and also the product rule.

Good Hunting!
