The circle has a radius of 8cm
The chord is 13cm long.
Find the distance from the centre of the circle, to the chord.

Hi,

I assume want the distance from the centre of the circle to the centre of the chord.

|AB| is half the chord length and angle ABC is a right angle. This looks like a job for Pythagoras theorem.
