Question from Mela, a student:

The area of a square is 841cm².
What is the length of one side of the square?
What is its perimeter?

Mela,

The area of a rectangle is length times width. For a square the length and width are equal so you have

length × length = 841 cm2.

What is the length? What is the perimeter of the square?

Penny
